Article 1. Publisher
The site is published by Foot Legendary, which carries on an intermediation business on behalf of professional football clubs, hereinafter referred to as the Publisher.
All correspondence concerning the site, its content or the data processing it carries out shall be addressed to contact@footlegendary.com. That address constitutes the Publisher's single point of contact and is monitored on a regular basis.
Article 2. Director of publication
Publication is directed by the legal representative of Foot Legendary, who may be reached at the electronic address set out in Article 1.
Article 3. Hosting
The site and the database serving it are hosted by Hostinger International Limited, on infrastructure located in Paris, France, and therefore within the territory of the European Union.
Delivery of transactional electronic mail, in particular client area invitations and password setting links, is entrusted to Resend, on its Ireland region infrastructure.
Article 4. Purpose of the service
The service consolidates, for each listed player, a value estimate together with its breakdown, and follows the transfer and scouting requests submitted by client clubs.
The figures presented are estimates produced by a statistical model from public data and from declarations made by clubs. They constitute neither an offer, nor a unilateral undertaking to buy or sell, nor an investment recommendation within the meaning of financial regulation.
Every estimate is published together with its lower and upper bound and its coverage rate, which express the degree of information available to the model. No transfer decision may properly be founded on the central value alone.
Article 5. Origin of the data
Sporting data, comprising squads, match statistics and transfer history, originates from the API-Football service. Reference market values and contract expiry dates originate from the Transfermarkt service. Photographic representations originate from Wikimedia and Wikidata, under free licences only.
All data displayed in the product is accompanied by its source and its collection date. Data without verifiable provenance is not published.
Article 6. Intellectual property
The name Foot Legendary, its visual identity, the architecture of the site, the texts appearing on it and the valuation model together with its documentation are protected works.
Any reproduction, representation, adaptation or extraction, in whole or in part, by any process whatsoever, without the prior written authorisation of the Publisher, is prohibited and constitutes an infringement.
Substantial extraction or re use of the contents of the database is likewise prohibited under the sui generis database right.
Club names, crests and logotypes remain the property of their respective owners and are reproduced for identification purposes only.
Article 7. Liability
The Publisher is bound by an obligation of means as regards the accuracy and currency of the information published. That information depends on third party sources over whose collection and updating the Publisher exercises no control, and whose inaccuracies propagate.
The Publisher shall not incur liability by reason of a decision taken on the sole basis of an estimate, of indirect loss, or of a temporary unavailability of the service attributable to maintenance, to the host or to an event of force majeure.
Article 8. Personal data
The processing of personal data carried out in connection with the service is the subject of a separate privacy policy, accessible from every page of the site, setting out the purposes pursued, the legal bases, the retention periods and the rights of data subjects.
Article 9. Governing law
This notice is governed by French law. Contractual relations between the Publisher and client clubs are governed by the particular terms agreed between them, which prevail over this document.
